Food Services Drive-Thru
In order to keep Care Centre guests, volunteers, and staff safe, we have moved to a drive-thru food bank model. Guests arriving by bus or on foot are also welcome! We have non-perishable goods, fresh produce, bread, milk, eggs, and meat available for all guests. Food is distributed according to family size.
We are committed to offering as much choice as possible: a volunteer will inform you of what is included in a standard food box and ask if you would like to make any alterations to the order.
We are open Monday - Thursday from 10:00am - 3:00pm
No appointment necessary!
What to Expect
When you arrive at the Care Centre, you will see a line of orange pylons guiding you to a large black Care Centre Ottawa canopy. When you reach the front of the line, please remain in your vehicle. If you are arriving by bus or on foot, please line up against the black fence and maintain a 6-foot distance between yourself and other guests. A Care Team member will come out to greet you. If it is your first visit, they will complete a short intake form with you. If it is a return visit, they will simply ask for your name and the number of people living in your household.
Guests are invited to visit the Care Centre for food services 1-2 times per month. If you access food services from another food bank, we ask that you please limit your visits to once per month.
